Scratch Coat

External Plastering

Scratch coat done externally today, first fix electrical and plumbing finished this week too. Vapour control layer on porch roof done.

Upper Roof Finished

Veluxes put in on monday, first view of finished roof in daylight this morning

Ventilation First Fix

Most of ventilation ducting in. I spent the last 2 and a half days at this myself. Hope it all works, can't blame anyone else if it doesn't!

Last Pane of Glass

Finally last pane of glass in.

Windows

Windows nearly all in. it was too windy to put in the glass to the big windows at the back

Window Fitting

Most of back of roof slated today. Window fitters arrived late but got the kitchen / dining window and sliding door in

Front Door

Pic from yesterday, windows delivered, only front door in yet though. Most of front half of roof slated too yesterday, all in about 6 hours!

Most of the flat roof to the rear has been covered with marine ply and the vapour control layer

Battens and counter battens and felt on. DPC under batten at verge.

Rafters bolted to ceiling joists, straps to wall plate, and fascia plywood and tillting fillet done today too

Rafters up on most of roof today. Just the cathedral roof over the stairs left out.
