Foundations poured today, good progress for first week on site

Day 3 Foundations dug out

Foundations all dug out. About 4m of the strip to the east wall of the living room had to be stepped down by 225 mm. Location of former tank has been filled with 4-6 inch stone under internal strips.
Steel mesh for reinforcing the foundations has arrived on site

Day 2: Foundations

Old tank excavated and will need to be filled. This was a bit bigger then we thought.
The ground is generally good though (stiff gravelly boulder clay) and dry
